This September, Mike Carpino Family of Ford Lincoln Dealerships is joining Ford dealers across the globe for our second annual Fill a Ford Food Drive!

All month long, our dealerships in in Columbus, Parsons, and Pittsburg, Kansas, will be filling Ford vehicles with nonperishable food donations to help stock the shelves of food pantries right here in Southeast Kansas.

Each dealership is partnering with a local organization serving its community, so when you donate at your nearest Mike Carpino Ford location, your contribution stays local. 

Our goal is simple: Fill a Ford. Make a difference. Load Up for Common Good!

What Can I Donate?

We’re accepting unopened, unexpired, nonperishable food items throughout September.

Not sure what to bring? Here’s a list of top requested items from our partners:

- Peanut butter

- Jelly

- Canned chicken, tuna, or other meats

- Canned fruits & vegetables

- Soup, broth, chili

- Pasta & pasta sauce

- Rice & beans

- Macaroni & cheese

- Ramen noodles

- Cereal & oatmeal

- Shelf-stable or powdered milk

- Boxed meals

- Crackers & snacks

One item, one bag, or a whole cart; every donation makes a difference!

Monetary donations are also welcomed!

More Ways We’re Giving Back

We’re doing more than collecting food. We’re committed to making every sale and service visit count this September.

$100 For Every Vehicle

For every new or pre-owned vehicle sold throughout the month of September, Mike Carpino Ford will donate $100 to its stores partner.

Round Up for a Reason

We are also offering our service customers the opportunity to round up their service bill and contributing the difference to their dealerships local nonprofit partner.

First United Methodist Church Food Pantry

The First United Methodist Church Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families in the Columbus community. Donations help keep its pantry stocked, and monetary contributions are used to purchase groceries locally; supporting local business while helping local neighbors!

Labette County Emergency Assistance Center

2112 Belmont Ave. | Parsons, KS 67357

For more than 25 years, the Labette County emergency Assistance Center has helped Labette County residents facing times of crisis and hardship. In addition to its food pantry, the Center provides a variety of essential assistance and connects local families with resources when they need them most. 

Wesley House

411 E. 12th St. | Pittsburg, KS 66762

Wesley House is an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg and has served our community since 1982. The organization provides food and other assistance to Crawford County residents,serving as both a resource for neighbors in need and a place of support during times of crisis.
